Manager can give opportunity for applying absences in the past for employees. This can be done through the portal.

  1. Login to the portal on https://portal.away4.com
  2. Go to Administration > Departments
  3. Click on the Settings button beside root department
  4. Navigate to Absence types tab
  5. Click on Edit button beside some absence type
  6. Mark Past registration allowed checkbox
  7. Click on Save button and click on Save button in the Settings for department pop-up window


All employees of department can apply absences in the past.
